You can now review a history of changes to your invoices. Starting in early July 2016, the following activities are tracked:
- Invoice creation
- Invoice changes that affect the total price of that invoice
- Invoice status changes
- Sending invoices to an integrated accounting system (QuickBooks or Intacct)
To view the history of an invoice, go to that invoice and click the History button in the upper right corner of the screen:
This button will appear only on invoices that have any history events. Invoices created or edited before July 2016 may not have any history events recorded.
Tablet - Asset Search and Filtering
We have also added the ability for technicians to search and filter the list of assets in the tablet web application. You can choose the following filter levels: only assets for the job, all assets related to the job's service lines, and all asset at the location.
You can also search for assets by name. This is useful if you want to quickly find an asset by its manufacturer/model number, serial number, or location.
QuickBooks Desktop - Pending Invoices
You can now choose the status for invoices that are sent from ServiceTrade to QuickBooks Desktop. Invoices can now be sent as 'Final' (the default) or 'Pending'. Information about how to change your QuickBooks connection settings is available here.
This feature is not available for users of QuickBooks Online.
New Quote Page
We've added a bunch of improvements and bugfixes to the new quote page. The most significant change is the addition of the quote's history to the new quote page. We'll be introducing even more new features over the next few weeks!
