KEY DATES

Monday, October 1:  New app available for download.

October 1 - November 27:  Opt-in transition period. You can start using the app whenever you wish in this window.

Wednesday, November 28 (Ready or not! day):  The new mobile app will be pushed as an update to smartphones where the old ServiceTrade app is installed. Users who have auto-update activated will get the new app on this day. Users who have auto-updated deactivated will get the new app the next time they manually update their device.

You'll know you have the new app when you see this icon.

TRANSITION PLAN

There are three options for how you roll out the app across your team:

  1. Run a pilot program with a few technicians first, then pick a date to transition everyone else.
  2. Pick a date and transition everyone at the same time.
  3. Wait until the new app is pushed on Nov. 28 and panic.

We suggest options 1 and 2. 

If you use a Mobile Device Management (MDM) solution, contact support@servicetrade.com for specific MDM instructions.
