Job Office Assignments
With today's release, it is now possible to assign a job to the office from which it is being performed. This allows you a greater measure of control in defining which searches will find a particular job, which brand is displayed on customer-facing job records such as work acknowledgements and Service Links, and so forth.
By default, each newly created job will get assigned to the office to which the job's location belongs. (If the job's location belongs to multiple offices, the job will be assigned to the office of the person who created the job.)
To change a job's office assignment, you can either edit an individual job by clicking 'Manage Job':
...or you can assign an office to all jobs as you create them, using the Service Opportunities report:
You can now search the jobs list for either jobs assigned to a particular office by using the 'Job Office' search:
...or you can search that list for jobs at locations which are assigned to a particular office by using the 'Location Office' search (this is equivalent to the 'Office' search that was previously available in this list):
You can now also filter the ServiceTrade dashboard, using either the job's office assignment or the job location's office assignment (previously the dashboard office filter always used the job location's office assignment):
Contract Total Revenue
When viewing any customer contract, you can now see the total revenue invoiced to date on that contract:
IMPORTANT: Total revenue is visible ONLY for customer contracts. Total revenue is not shown on default contracts.
- The job clock event export now includes a job description column (job_description)
- The quote and job pages now show a confirmation prompt if you leave, close, or refresh the page while an editable section (description, items, comments, services, etc) is open.
