You may need to determine, at a glance or via an export, what the current value is for Stock in a Warehouse. Using the Stock menu, you can view the Total Cost Basis and the actual quantity of an item to determine inventory value in a given warehouse. Total cost basis is how you can find your inventory valuation or to generate reporting on date-specific levels of stock.

How to View Total Cost Basis

  1. On the Navigation Bar, click Inventory.
  2. Then click Stock.
  3. Below you will see a column for Total Cost Basis in the data table below, as well as fields for Item Name, Item Description, Warehouse, and # in Stock.
    • Total Cost Basis represents the total value of every quantity of that item at that warehouse location, effective on the filtered Posted or Transaction dates.
