These updates to Service Link change how the Service Link is organized. Allowing for an easier-to-manage and more detailed Service Link experience for your customers. It will also give you more control over what is or isn't visible to your customers.

If you are a client of one of our customers, who receives and uses Service Links, the section directly below will break down the new features and how they benefit you.

There is also a new feature that allows you to set ServiceTrade to automatically resend quotes to customers based on a selected number of days before quotes expires.

IMPORTANT NOTE: Changing what's visible in sections on a Job's Service Link will affect the appearance of ALL existing Service Links that have already been sent for that specific Job, in addition to Service Links that will be sent in the future.

New Service Link Features

Below is a list of new ServiceLink features.

  • The New Service Link will have two new views that show your customers detailed info about their job:

    • Timeline View - This shows all the details about the job based on the time in which the work took place on the job. This allows your customers to follow along with your work over time so they can be sure about what happened and when. This view will also have timeline filters that your customers can set to easily view what took place on the job at an exact time.
  • New Expandable/Collapsable accordion menus - Organizes and makes understanding the Service Link details easier. Especially when there is a lot of information on large scopes of work (large jobs or projects.)
  • Attachments and Comments - Attachment and Comments associated with a service will now be visible to your customers on Service Links.
