Prerequisites

Only users you have granted the 'Manage Salesperson Assignments' activity are allowed to add and change the Salesperson on Jobs and Quotes.  By default, only Account Admins have this activity.

 

Salesperson Tracking on Jobs

  1. To assign a Salesperson to a Job, click the Manage Job link on the Job page.
  2. Select your desired Salesperson from the Job Salesperson dropdown list.

  3. Click the Save button.

 

Salesperson Tracking on Quotes

  1. To assign a Salesperson to a Quote, click the Manage Quote link on the Quote page.
  2. Select your desired Salesperson from the Quote Salesperson dropdown list.

Salesperson Tracking on Deficiencies

  1. To assign a Salesperson to a Deficiency, select the Deficiency you want to edit or create a new Deficiency.
  2. Select the desired Salesperson from the Salesperson dropdown list.

  3. Click the Save button.

 

Salesperson Tracking on Contracts

  1. To assign a Salesperson to a Contract, select the Contract you would like to edit or create a new contract.
  2. Select the desired Salesperson from the Salesperson dropdown list.

  3. Click the Save button.

Note: Salesperson assignment options will appear only if you have at least one active Salesperson in your ServiceTrade account.

 

Searching and Filtering by Salesperson

The Job, Quote, and Contract lists are searchable by Salesperson. The dashboard can be filtered to show only Jobs assigned to a selected Salesperson or a list of salespeople.

  1. Click the Dashboard Filter icon to bring up the Dashboard Filter menu.

  2. Scroll to the very bottom and update the Salesperson filter.
