To get access to these features, be sure to upgrade your technicians' ServiceTrade Mobile App to the latest 5.2.2 Release.
What’s Included?
The ServiceTrade Mobile App 5.2.2 release for iOS and Android provides technicians with a new feature to log an "Incomplete Reason" when clocking out of appointments that are not completed. This feature can be enabled and disabled by an Administrator from within the "Technician App Preferences" accordion on the Account Settings page.
This release also contains a new feature called Clock-Out Checklist Workflow, which allows Account Admins to restrict your technicians from clocking out of a Job Appointment prior to completing a specific task such as: adding comments, attaching photos, or reviewing and updating deficiencies.
This release also enhances how Deficiency counts are displayed on the deficiency tile on the Appointment page and the Deficiencies page in the mobile app.
The new features include:
- Clock-Out "Incomplete Reason" Workflow
- Clock-Out Checklist Workflow
- Enhanced Deficiency Tile Counter & Deficiency Page Filtering
Clock-Out "Incomplete Reason" Workflow
As of ServiceTrade Web Application Sept. 13th Release, Administrators can now enable or disable this Clock-Out "Incomplete Reason" Workflow under the "Technician App Preferences" accordion on the Account Settings page. You can read more about enabling or disabling this account setting in this release note.
Important Note: This Account Setting will control a feature that will be available with Mobile App Version 5.2.2. If the setting is set to disabled, it will not currently disable the workflow until Mobile App Version 5.2.2 is available and downloaded on your Technician's Mobile Device.
This setting will be automatically enabled for all user accounts when Mobile App Version 5.2.2 is available. You will need to disable this setting, at that time, if you do not want this clock-out workflow for your techs.

- Once the clock-out reason is selected, the next menu will ask you if you would like to move this appointment to the "Completed" section. This is helpful in instances where you would want to remove an incomplete appointment from your schedule.
