How to Re-Assign a Dispatch

There may be times when you need to re-assign a dispatch to another device or user. This article will walk you through re-assigning a dispatch from a Device/User to another Device/User.

Note: Technicians cannot re-assign dispatches from within the mobile app.

Re-Assigning a Dispatch

  1. To re-assign a Dispatch, first log in to your Device Magic Management Console.
  2. Click the Dispatches tab from the action bar on the left.DD2.png
  3. From the Dispatches list, locate the Dispatch you wish to re-assign and click the gear icon on the right.
  4. Select Re-Assign from the dropdown menu.

  5. Click the Select Device/User drop-down menu.
  6. Select the new user you want to assign the Dispatch to.
  7. Click the Reassign button.

Reassign Disptaches in Bulk

  1. To re-assign a Dispatch, first log in to your Device Magic Management Console.
  2. Click the Dispatches tab from the action bar on the left.
  3. Make sure the Sent tab is selected, then check to select the dispatches you want to reassign.
    • Note: You can tick the checkbox in the column header row to select all the dispatches on the current page.

  4. Click the Bulk Actions drop-down button.
  5. Click Re-Assign.

  6. Select a Device/User that you want assign these forms to.

  7. Click the Reassign button.
