This article defines the release stages for new features and functionality coming to ServiceTrade. To stay up to date on the latest product and feature releases, check out our Release Notes section.

Early Adopter Program (EAP)
  • A new feature or set of features is being tested by a small group of invited customers. These customers provide feedback to help test and fine-tune the development of the solution.
  • The feature is not available for wide release.
  • The ServiceTrade Support Team does not provide support for features in EAP. All questions and concerns are directed to the Product Manager running the Early Adopter Program.
Open Beta
  • The new feature is available for customers to use by request. (Availability may be based on subscription tier and therefore unavailable to customers not on that tier.)
  • If you want the feature turned on in your account, please contact your Account Manager.
  • While the development of the feature is largely complete, accessing a feature in Open Beta means you understand there could still be minor bugs or missing components. However, all critical bugs are fixed.
  • The ServiceTrade Support Team does provide support for features in Open Beta. Accessing a feature in Open Beta means you understand that some support tickets may take longer to resolve because there may still be minor bugs or missing components.
  • Customers who have ideas to improve the feature should add their requests in ServiceTrade Ideas.
General Availability (GA)
  • The feature is available in all ServiceTrade accounts (Availability may be based on subscription tier and therefore unavailable to customers not on that tier.)
  • Our development team continues to monitor the stability of the feature.
  • If the new feature is replacing an existing feature, the duplicate feature will eventually be depreciated from the app during this window.
  • The ServiceTrade Support Team will provide support for this feature.
  • Customers who have ideas to improve the feature should add their requests in ServiceTrade Ideas.

Note: General Availability is often referred to as "GA," which is when the product or feature is released to the general public.
