The Universal Search field is found at the top of ServiceTrade, to the right of the Help button. This article will walk users through the specifics of how the Universal Search field works and how it can help them find specific data in their ServiceTrade account and improve their workflow.
All matches are perfect (case insensitive) matches unless otherwise specified. "Wildcard" means each space in the search string is converted to a wildcard, then the search string is wrapped in wildcards, and then the search is executed. So a search for "ob smith" will be executed as `*ob*smith*`
and will return "bob smith" and "Robert Smithwick", but will not return "smith knob" or "orb smith".
