Service Contracts and Inheritance

Many ServiceTrade customers use our service contracts price inheritance feature, which makes it easy to maintain a single price list while still supporting customer-specific negotiated prices, regional differences in labor rates, etc. Inheritance is used to reduce duplication of efforts for similar contracts.

To make it easy to understand your contract inheritance hierarchy, you can view any contract's list of "children" (the contracts which inherit its prices.) You can view these child contracts by opening the Child Contracts section of the contract page.
