Important Note: PartsLedger is now PartsManager. PartsManager retains all of the parts purchasing and warehouse management automation benefits of its predecessor. To read more about this exciting change, click here.

While looking through the different page lists, you may have multiple pages where you need to locate a specific item or entity by name and do not want to click through each page to locate it. Using View Filters and Quick Filters can help you find data easily.

This article will walk you through using view and quick filters in PartsManager, formerly known as PartsLedger.

How to Use View Filters

View Filters allows you to name, create, and save conditional filters that make it easy for you to filter and manage your data tables. Almost every page that has data in PartsManager has a View Filter.

The following video will walk users through using view filters.

How to Use Quick Filters

Quick Filters work the same way as View Filters, but you can only use them once. Watch the above video before following these instructions.

  1. On the relevant Data Table Page, click the Quick Filter icon.
  2. Enter the conditional logic fields, that meet your search requirements (see video above for more details.)
  3. If you want to Save the filter as a View Filter, click the button next to the View Filter drop-down.
  4. Enter a name in the View Name field.
  5. Click Save.

Example: Below is an example of a user trying to find an item with a Name that contains "Mini"
